「Brush Express」は、カメラを筆として使い、見えない歪みを視覚化する試みから生まれました。
補聴器を通じて受け取る音の歪みが、真実か否かの判断が難しいという個人的な体験からインスピレーションを受けて、時間と色の流れを切り取ることで、その歪みを形にしようと試みています。ズームレンズによる空間の湾曲や新幹線の速さがもたらす時間の流れを、一枚の画像に留めることを目指しています。
増田貴大の「NOZOMI」に触発されたこのプロジェクトは、彼の作品の逆を行くことで、私の感じる世界の歪みを表現し、残すことを目標にしています。この写真集は、見る者に対して、目に見えない世界の感覚を感じ取ってもらい、それぞれが異なる視点から作品を解釈するきっかけを提供します。
"Brush Express" was born from an attempt to visualize invisible distortions using the camera as a brush. Inspired by my personal experiences with distorted auditory perceptions through hearing aids, where discerning the truthfulness of sounds is often challenging, I aimed to capture these distortions by seizing the flow of time and colors. The project focuses on capturing the curvature of space through zoom lenses and the passage of time accentuated by the speed of bullet trains, all within a single image. Inspired by Masuda Takahiro's "NOZOMI," this project pursues the opposite of his work, aiming to depict and preserve the distortions of the world as I perceive them. This collection invites viewers to feel the sensations of an unseen world and provides an opportunity for them to interpret the artworks from diverse perspectives.
